Gradient Blending of Images for Content Aware Image Resizing

چکیده

Gradient Blending method is used to crosscorrelate the different images by varying the intensity. Content-aware image resizing technique allows to obtain the visual content of the images by enriching the salient information in different aspect of ratio. Seam carving is a simple image operator that can change the size of an image either by carving out or by inserting pixel in different part of the image. Gradient Vector Flow method is used to find the seam path which is to be removed where the GVF fields are dense vector fields derived from images, by reducing certain energy functions in a framework. In proposed method, the process includes image stitching for joining the adjacent image regions and gradient blending method in order to obtain better visual content of the images by preserving the salient regions. This method is fast effective and gives considerable improvements in visual effects. Stitching of images creates a visual normalization by cross correlating feature and maintains the color balance of the image and produce sequential attachment of image. Gradient blending method joins the adjacent images whereas the seam calculation is performed by Gradient Vector Flow technique through saliency map detection. The purpose of the algorithm is to display images without any distortion on various media using document standards. KeywordsGradient Blending, GVF, Seam Carving, Contentaware, Image Stitching.
